The Neve is useful, more so in the "mid" section than anywhere else, the comp is OKish. A few years ago Sonic Scores decided to take a new direction in music notation software. but I'd save the money and get a good EQ and then get the SSL bus comp instead. and have never been a fan of SSL style EQ, (although I owned a duality for years) - the Compression is very useful though. The fight between the SSL & Neve would be a better contest, and out of those 2 I'd choose the Neve any day of the week. API has a different chain to the other 2, and is also "next gen" as the other 2 are the older style MK1 plugs.
